Answer: Abdomen I would first consider liposuction of the abdomen and flanks to remove the excess fat. You may be happy or may later need the tuck to remove excess skin.

Answer: The best option for you! Hello After three pregnancies, relaxation of the muscles in the front abdominal wall and even diastasis can be seen. The skin on your upper abdomen is loose, and the skin on your lower abdomen is both loose and has stretch marks. The best result is achieved with Lipoabdominoplasty. It repairs the muscles, completely removes the stretched skin, and reduces your fat. If you prefer, a Mini Tummy Tuck can be done. However, it will not fix your abdominal muscles, and most of the stretch mark skin will remain. Additionally, if done with Liposuction, there may still be looseness in the upper abdomen

Answer: Mini tuck candidate or not Hello thank you for your question and the pics. Your best result is with a full tummy tuck, however you can qualify for a mini tuck and use liposuction along with J plasma to forcefully contract the skin. I would like to point out to you, that a mini tuck is NOT a shorter scar, but rather the flap dissection on the abdomen does not surpass the level of the navel, the length of the scar is dictated by the needs of each patient, thus the reason why you see such variation in tummy tucks length. I understand, specially with your age, being weary of a tummy tuck, my advise is that if you will pursue to have more kids, don't go for something like a tummy tuck and stick with a mini and lipo. Once you finish having children, def consider the full tummy tuck you will end up with an even better body than before having children, just try and don't gain more weight

Answer: Abdominoplasty Thank you for your inquiry! By your photos, it looks like you would be a great candidate for an abdominoplasty to get rid of excess skin. The only difference in a mini vs a full abdominoplasty is how long the incision is. A mini tummy tuck is going to have a smaller incision than a full tummy tuck. Muscle repair, removal of excess skin, and liposuction are all included with both a mini and a full tummy tuck. I recommend scheduling a consult appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon like myself so we can create a surgical plan that is best for you and your goals!

Answer: Mini vs traditional TT Your best bet for the ideal aesthetic outcome would be a traditional tummy tuck. But honestly, I wouldn’t get too caught up in “mini” vs “traditional” tummy tuck. Both remove excess tissue and plicate (or tighten) the abdominal muscles that have been stretched out from pregnancy. Both have an abdominal scar that I personally try to make as low as possible, as to hide underneath a lower rise bikini bottom. The main difference is leaving the belly button in its current position or “floating it” versus creating a new position, which I think would give a better outcome in your particular case. I would typically perform liposuction of the flanks and upper abdomen and do abdominal etching to give a more svelte, contoured, and athletic-looking result to your abdomen. Hope this helps! Best of luck in your aesthetic journey!

Answer: Mini-tummy tuck? Given the lack of presumed diastasis and muscle laxity, liposuction with a mini-tummy tuck will help tighten and clean up the lower tummy. Having said that, you have stretch marks above your umbilicus and the skin may be somewhat loose compared to the lower abdomen. An umbilical transposition (kind of like the skin aspect of a tummy tuck) can help in this regard. This can all be done in the same setting with local anesthesia, no drains and minimal down time. Something to consider. Thank you.
