Nipple pain 2 months post gyno surgery. Any suggestions?

i have this pain upon pressing the nipple and there is this stiff swelling behind the nipple. the nipple is still puffy. any chances of improvements furthermore? what can i do to reduce the swelling?

Two months is still within the healing timeframe after surgery and there could still be swelling and scar tissue formation causing discomfort. Give yourself at least three months for this to calm down, but if you still have concerns it is best to schedule an in-person examination with your surgeon to properly assess your progress #pain #Postop

it possible that 2 months surgery, you may still have some residual parynchymal breast tissue behind the nipple.  Unfortunately, it could also be scar tissue.  Your surgeon would be the best person to help you figure out what this is.  If there is pain from scar tissue, sometime steroid injections in that area can help reduce the pain.  Again, it is important to really try to figure out what this could be. Hi Diyafah,Don't be too concerned about nipple discomfort since you are only 2 months postoperative. You are still in the healing phase and it will take close to 6 months for the tissues to return to normal.
