Safety should be foremost in your mind; be careful in your selection of a provider who says your high BMI is not an issue in performing aggressive lipo 360.Most board certified PSs will recommend medically-supervised or surgically assisted weight loss for patients with a BMI greater than 35 or 40. High BMIs are associated with wound healing complications, blood clots in the legs, and anesthesia risks, and sagging skin. Large volume lipo can be very costly and lead to fluid shifts, medication overload, and potential bleeding.
Your post leaves something to be desired. You didn’t include any information about yourself. If you want an assessment you need to include statistics and pictures.Almost 100% of plastic surgeons in the United States are happy to do liposuction on appropriate candidates. Most plastic surgeons follow American society of plastic surgeons safety guidelines or state regulations limiting the amount of fat that can be removed.Patients who are morbidly obese should focus on weight loss instead of Liposuction.Consider re-posting if you want to know if you’re a candidate for Liposuction.Otherwise schedule if you consultations with providers in your area.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
A healthy BMI is between 15 - 24, the maximum recommended being around 30. If you are above 30, then you are encouraged to lose weight before undergoing surgery. The higher the BMI the higher the chance of complications. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon will help you get an accurate recommendation for your procedure and for pricing. You will find s surgeon to do liposuction on you, especially since COVID has caused many offices to lose money and there are those out there looking for suckers. I would, however, advise you to do what you probably already know you need to do, lose weight to a reasonable BMI. Liposuction is for correcting localized fat in someone near a normal weight. The problem with doing "aggressive" liposuction in someone with a high BMI is that it can be very dangerous. Additionally, it is highly likely that you may need skin excision to gain a truly aesthetic result. Because of these problems, I know of no ethical plastic surgeon who would do such surgery.
Varicoses veins do not affect liposuction however, you should get them looked at and consider hormonal optimization as well to improve circulation and skin tightening. Best, Dr. Emer.
With appropriate sculpting of your waist, you will have a much curvier appearance without having the fat in the hips and buttocks. These are often times achievable on the correct patients. Theres is no surgical treatment for cellulite however a fat transfer may hide the signs of cellulite. Here...
Liposuction 360 could be performed with medical clearance. However, I would address the gallbladder problems first; and if a cholecystectomy is required, wait 6 weeks to 3 months to have the liposuction performed.
