Can I layaway my bbl? I have found a couple places on the internet but nothing in the Mass/RI area. Is this something that most doctors are open to doing? I am wanting to put $1500 down and pay the rest over a years time before the procedure date.
Answer: Paying for surgery Dear angieloc, the price and payment options are entirely practice dependent. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: BBL lay-a-way Hello angieloc, most practices do have some sort of financing options, although specific options vary by practice. I would recommend calling the specific office directly and the office staff should be able to tell you over the phone if they would accept that type of payment. I also recommend you verify that the practices you are interested in are board certified plastic surgeons. Hope this helps, all the best, Brian Biggerstaff, MD

Answer: Can I prepay in installments (lay-a-way) my BBL procedure? Most private practice boarded Plastic Surgeons do not act as a savings bank or accounting options. Why not open a money market savings account earning interest and save your monies until yiu are ready to book a surgery. The reason is once funds are paid into the doctor's office if anything should change it would very very hard to obtain refunding...

Answer: BBL Payment Some doctors may offer financing. The best way to save money is to consult a board certified plastic surgeon and do the right procedure the first time. If you are a good candidate (less than 5L of fat) for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), the optimal outcomes are achieved with: 1) use of VASER liposuction to harvest the fat, 2) a closed looped system such as Puregraft to process the fat, and 3) strategic micro-packet transplant technique. These three processes have demonstrated over 95% fat graft take. This means that your results will be stable as long as you maintain your weight. As an official VASER trainer, I am routinely referred unhappy BBL patients. One of the most common reasons for disgruntled BBL patients is that patients are not able to accurately communicate their desired buttocks goals to their surgeons. A buttocks assessment tool can be an invaluable tool to communicate to your surgeon the exact buttocks size and shape you are desiring. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a BBL specialist can help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD,FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee

Answer: Layaway plans for cosmetic surgery Many plastic surgeons will allow you to pre-pay overtime for a cosmetic procedure. This is quite different than financing the procedure which means paying for it after the fact. For that most plastic surgeons use outside financing companies. Another option is open and no fee savings account and simply put money into your savings account on a regular basis until you can pay for the procedure. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
