What is the best way to remove fat a few years after a bbl? Is there a skin tightening technique to avoid saggy or loose skin? I want fat removed from the lower portion of my butt but I’m afraid of loose skin.
Answer: Fat removal Dear inthemeadowsweet, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Generally speaking, liposuction is the best option to remove fat. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: What is the best way to remove fat from Brazilian butt lift? That is the million $$ question. I have found NONE of these minimally invasive treatments (ie: J-Plasma, BodyTite, etc) really work and add $$$ to fees. I see about 3-4 of these cases per month. I use superficial liposculpting with specialized taping techniques to effectively conform the inferior buttock skin. Fees in the $6.500 range.

Answer: How to remove fat The only realistic option for removing subcutaneous fat is liposuction. In order for us to make a good assessment and recommendation patients should always show proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have before and after pictures then you should contact the surgeon who did your procedure and ask them to forward the ones they took. Your bottom looks fairly ideal and natural. I don’t see anything excessive or overdone about it. Based on that I would say consider leaving good enough alone. It would be very helpful to see what you look like before the BBL so consider reposting with proper before and after pictures. If you want to move forward then you simply need to schedule in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons. Surgeons who perform the most number of BBL‘s will also be the ones who have done the most numbers of revisions. Revision work is difficult and patients were not happy with the outcome or after not happy after the revision. There is no good way to tighten skin without cutting skin out. If done correctly you should not end up with a skin laxity issue. Excessive amounts of fat should not be removed because it will leave an unnatural pore contour. The shape of the buttocks is not purely controlled or determined by fat distribution. There’s lots of other variables that determine the shape. It may seem simple enough to just remove some of the fat and sometimes it is and sometimes it is not. Schedule multiple in person consultations with local board certified plastic surgeons who have extensive experience for the BBL procedure. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
