I'm 2 weeks post upper and lower blepharoplasty and still quite bruised under eyes. How long to get rid of the black eyes?

it is common to have bruising after eyelid surgery that last several weeks.  Pulsed dye lasers may be used very effectively to help the bruises resolve quickly and safely.  We use this treatment on a routine basis to help short postoperative times.  Best of luck.

The amount of bruising after eyelid procedure will vary among patients. It is not uncommon to have bruising persist for 2 to 3 weeks. Of course clear this with your surgeon first, but you can probably start concealing the lower eyelid bruising somewhat with a little bit of make-up.  It will go away over time. Do not worry about it. bruising at two weeks is fairly normal. Try some arnica Montana an herbal supplement and fresh pineapple 

Brusing can last many weeks.  After blepharplasty with significant brusing it could persist for a month or more.  Don't waste money on arnica and other bruise remedies.  They don't work. TIncture of time is very helpful.

Bruising following eyelid surgery is normal and can take up to 3 or 4 weeks to resolve.  Follow your doctors post-operative instructions and best wishes.  

It is not uncommon to still have some bruising two weeks after blepharoplasty.  How quickly this resolves depends on the particular patient and what was done surgically.  It will go away soon, just give it some more time.
