The amount of bruising after eyelid procedure will vary among patients. It is not uncommon to have bruising persist for 2 to 3 weeks. Of course clear this with your surgeon first, but you can probably start concealing the lower eyelid bruising somewhat with a little bit of make-up. It will go away over time. Do not worry about it. Brusing can last many weeks. After blepharplasty with significant brusing it could persist for a month or more. Don't waste money on arnica and other bruise remedies. They don't work. TIncture of time is very helpful.
