I had previous nose surgery to fix a deviated septum along with other issues which resulted in osteoma formation on the dorsal hump of my nose. I have the triamcinolone cream from previously which was used to treat an allergic reaction. I know that long term use has some dangerous skin effects, but I was hoping to use the cream just once or twice to reduce swelling.

Hi and thank you for your question. What you are experiencing in not uncommon. The nasal tip takes the longest to heal. In about 3-4 months you should see an improvement. Final healing time can take up to one year.

Hello. Great question. You are still early in your recovery process. All the swelling misguides the result of your procedure. It can take up to one year for all the swelling to go down. Until then you can examine your final results. Be patient. Keep following your surgeon's post op instructions.
