I went from being flat chested to 32 DDD with a pair 700cc high profile mentor breast implants... It is one month post op and they are still sitting in my armpit. Additionally the left impants is higher than the other one. I'm beginning to think that I should've chosen a smaller size because it doesn't seem like there is space for them to drop at all... Any suggestions?
Answer: 1 month post of Hello and thank you for your question and photos. You are only 1 month post op. I have my patients use a breast strap which is similar to an ace bandage to push down the upper part of your breasts. Keep in mind that for the following months your breasts will settle down into the tissue. Consult with your surgeon to see what he suggests. Best Wishes!

Answer: Your implants seem a little high which is normal for 1 month after surgery Your implants seem a little high which is normal for 1 month after surgery. It takes time for the skin / muscle to stretch and given the size of your implants, it's not unusual for them to seem high at 1 month. I would expect at least 6 months for them to come down and normalize given that you went from flat chested to 700cc

Answer: Do My Breast Implants Look Normal At One Month Post Op? For one month post op on a relatively small chest with large implants, your recovery seems to be right on track. With reference to your comment about "normal", that word means different things to different people. To give you a complete answer, I need to make certain reasonable assumptions. I am going to assume your implants are under the muscle and your surgeon used silicone implants. If this is true, then the fluid in the implants is temporarily displaced upward, and once that fluid drops, you will have less fullness in the upper quadrant, fill out the bottom of your breasts (that area between the nipple and the inframammary fold), and gain a more tear drop appearance. To assist you in speeding the process, if you were my patient, I would recommend no bra for at least 2-3 months, nipple covers to maintain modesty, and a bando or ace wrap over the top of the implants to speed the repositioning of the fluid in the implants from the upper to the lower pole.

Answer: Do my breast implants look normal for being one month post op? (Photo) For being one month post-op with 700cc implants and starting off where you did, you appear to be on track. 700cc implants are large implants for your body and starting off a A cup, it can take longer for your implants to drop. I would talk to your surgeon about possibly wearing a breast band and massaging to see if that will help your implants drop and breasts to soften. If over the next 3-6 months you don't see an improvement, you may want to consider talking to your surgeon about switching them out to smaller implants. ac

Answer: Appearances a month out from large augmenation is 'normal' but are you employing any maneuvers to help the implants settle into your desired position? Some doctors don't utilize massage but I firmly believe in and have my results to support my contention that strapping and massage do help in my patients. Your surgeon wants the best results for you so let your surgeon know of your concerns and let your surgeon guide you through this. They are on the larger side but if you will be happy with them, life is about living so enjoy it!
