I'm 5'8, 34AA, and 128lbs. I am choosing to go with Mentor's MemoryShape Anatomical implants but can't decide size to achieve the look I want. My goal is to be a full C cup, small D cup. The first picture is not me but looks exactly like my breasts. The other pictures are my goal sizes. I don't want anything too big, I want to be able to play them up or down with the type of bra I choose to wear What do you think would be the best option for me. Btw if it helps my P.S. measured me at a 13cm width.
Answer: Size of implant There is not a big difference in size between the two, so go bigger. Many women wished they had gone bigger after the surgery.

Answer: When considering implant size, it's generally better to go with the larger of 2 choices. Most women wish they had gone a bit bigger after they have grown accustomed to the breast augmentation. I suggest you go with the 395cc.

Answer: Choosing Breast Implants Thank you for your question. The most common breast augmentation misconception is that an implant can be selected based on a desired bra size. It cannot be done that way. The reason is that there clothing designers have no set standards for sizing. Cup sizes differ from one designer to the next the same way jeans do, and we all know how much we hate that! So the best thing you can do is focus on the look you want and forget about cup size. You will likely by a larger cup size than you think. The "wish" pictures you have seem very reasonable for your frame. Make sure you have clearly communicated your desired look to your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Let them help guide you to the best choice of implant to get you there.

Answer: I am having problems with picking an implant size. The best cosmetic result in any particular breast augmentation patient depends on a variety of factors, including: your individual anatomy, realistic expectations, a thorough discussion with the plastic surgeon about the options, and an understanding of the pros and cons of any particular implant choice. Proper sizing is not just about the number of cc’s. The thickness of your tissue, breast dimensions which include the width, height, and projection, as well as chest wall width all need to be considered when choosing an implant. Trying on implant “sizers” of various shapes and volumes while wearing a tight t-shirt, bra, or bathing suit at a preoperative visit will help you and your surgeon choose the optimal implant. There are no manufacturers' standards for cup sizing in the bra industry. The cups of a 32 C and a 38 C are significantly different. Cup size varies from manufacturer to manufacturer and even within styles from any particular manufacturer. Keep in mind that following the advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes to tell you exactly what to do without examining you, physically feeling the tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history, and discussing the pros and cons of each operative procedure would not be in your best interest. I would suggest your plastic surgeon be certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) that you trust and are comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person. Robert Singer, MD FACS La Jolla, California

Answer: Should I go with 395cc or 355cc? My goal is to be a full C cup. Thank you for your question and photos. Fortunately your breast look to be normal shapes and you should have a good result from your breast augmentation. It is important that you have a plastic surgical consultation where biometric measurements can be made of your breasts. You should focus on the look you want and not cup size. A breast implant sizing system evaluation can be used to replace implants the various sizes into a bra so that you can see how you will look with the size. That said you should be able to accommodate either implant. The 355 will take you to a full C but if you want a D cup you may need to 395. For more information on choosing breast implant size please read the following link:
