I think Sculptra and Radiesse can both give good results in the cheeks. Treatment with Radiesse could potentially be done in just one session and Sculptra treatment normally involves a series of treatments to give gradually improvement. However, Sculptra will give longer lasting results than Radiesse.
This is a really good question that I get from several of my patients who are thinner and don't want the overfilled look but need volume. The answer to your question is BOTH. The reason I say both is because they work differently but yet work well together. You can start slow with Sculptra to stimulate your natural collegen then a few weeks later inject Radiesse for immediate but softer lift in smaller amounts. As the Sculptra starts to work several weeks to months later, Radiesse is starting to absorb and Sculptra has already started to stimulate your own collegen. In the long run it a more natural softening over time and then continue with maintenance Sculptra yearly.
I prefer Sculptra over Radiesse to lift your jowls as it will provide more collagen and last for a much longer period of time. Also Sculptra can be used in almost any area of the face, to produce new collagen, and you don't have to worry about lumps that could happen with Radiesse. Thermage FLX also works very well for tightening the skin, especially in the lower face. I outlined most of this on my Sculptra page which is linked to the answer. Best, Dr. Green
You don't really have jowls in your face, but your face has gotten considerably thinner over the years. That volume loss is caused by loss of fat in the face. The single best way to restore that volume and youthful appearance is with the use of your own fat. When fat grafting is performed by a plastic surgeon with lots of experience in fat crafting techniques, the results are natural and practically permanent. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City plastic surgery
Hello ND. IN your case, it appears that the acne scars are smallish in diameter, less than about 1/4" or 1/8" diameter. Because of this, using Sculptra to improve the scars is difficult. Sculptra is an excellent product for developing collagen and we often use it on indented areas caused by...
Dear Ava95, Unfortunately I would not advise Sculptra to create a bolster over your hip implant. It will not create soft fatty tissue for you, just stronger collagen which will not be sufficient to be a bolster. Also it might not be a good idea medically to inject Scuptra nor other f...
Either can be used, the neck area tends to get bumps in It and I wouldnt suggest sculptra there but would do morpheus and dermarolling ath ome with In office lasers and at home peels like enlighten or aerify. Best, Dr. Emer.
Its really hard to see a difference between those photos, completely different angles and ligthing. morpheus every 1-2 months, RF facials twice a month and buccal fat pad reduction with facetite can all help. Best, Dr. Emer.
Dear trainerbbb, you might consider Cellfina to reduce the cellulite. Patients are usually satisfied after the treatment (over 90 %). I would suggest you to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon with experience with Cellfina. Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic...
There are probably no specific contraindications to this. However, the Sculptra treatment is entirely elective, so it would not be a big deal to delay the treatment until the infection has cleared.Hope this helps!Dallas R. Buchanan, MD, FACSOwner & Board-Certified Plastic SurgeonVIVIFY plastic...
