The style and size of a cheek implant needed to give the best result cannot be determined by just looking at photographs.  The patient needs to be examined to determine the correct implant to use.  You should be able to come to a decision with your surgeon on the best implant to use for your face.

Those type of results come from a cheek implant style that incorporates both the malar and submalar areas. (combined malar-submalar shell) The largest size is only 4mms thick . But it is more than just about implant size and style, it is also getting the implants in the right anatomic position to create the desired effect. It would be helpful to know why your first cheek implants 'failed' and what style and size they were.
