Will CoolMini help my asymmetrical face?

Question

My left side of my face droops allot (or is just allot more full maybe??) . It’s very apparent in pictures and it’s given me a life of unhappiness because it just kills my self confidence. I’m wanting to get cool mini to address a slight double chin and to achieve a better jawline. Will cool mini also help make my face more symmetrical? Or will I have to get a more invasive surgery?

Hello,Thank you for your question and picture. Cool Mini will not address asymmetry in the face. You may want to talk with provider about dermal fillers. It’s a simple solution that yields great results. Good luck!

From the photo you posted it doesn't appear you have a double chin or anything that looks like significant facial asymmetry.  Consider a face to face consult with someone with expertise in both surgical and non-surgical facial contouring procedures.  (kybella, Cool Mini, Fillers, Sculptra, Ultherapy, etc)

Coolsculpting is great for reducing unwanted fat bulges and the CoolMini is specifically designed to reduce the double shin effect; however, it may not give you the symmetry you are looking for. Dermal fillers are a great way to help achieve facial symmetry.

Thank you for your question. First of all, asymmetry of the face is completely normal. However, dermal fillers can easily be used to improve symmetry. I can't really appreciate a double chin, submental fat,  issue on the picture provided. You may not be a candidate for CoolSculpting. However, a smaller double chin can usually be treated with Belkyra (Kybella).  I recommend seeing an expert in your area for an in-person consultation. All the best, Dr. Michon
