I had 20 units of Botox injected 10 days ago. 11 units in the upper forehead (my forehead is small) and 9 between my brows. When I raise my eyebrows, the skin above them looks puffy and thick but my brows do not look like they have fallen or gotten droopy when relaxed and they don't feel heavy. Do I just need more between my brows to relax those muscles? I definitely don't want my brow lifted so I'm concerned about injecting directly above them to relax those muscles. Any advice?

Answer: Puffy brows after Botox It looks like you need a little more Botox above the outer part of the eyebrow to prevent that from lifting so much. The middle part of the forehead and the glabella have been treated, but since the outer part of the forehead still moves, it's lifting the outer brow too much giving a little bit of a strange look. A tiny bit of Botox above the outer brow will fix this.Andrew Campbell, M.D.Facial Rejuvenation SpecialistQuintessa Aesthetic Centers

Answer: Puffiness after Botox Thank you for your question. From looking at your photos it appears that your brows have been over lifted. This is what is causing the bunching of your skin over your brows. This can be fixed by injection a small amount of Botox close to the brow to slightly drop the brows. I recommend having a follow up with your injector to have this evaluated and treated. Best of Luck!
