With our patients we recommend wearing the garment for 1 week 24/7, this is beneficial in reducing the swelling, then nightly for 4-6 wks if possible.  It is also advisable to gently massage around the neck and chin area as it will reduce the  firmness during the cellular inflammation. Great question!For my patients I recommend using the neck compression for 3 days 24/7, then at home and nightly for the next 6weeks. Light massage under the chin and jawline is also beneficial to mobilizing the post op swelling.Best. Dr Brecht Seattle, Wa
