2 weeks post sub-dermal Renuvion, there is lumpy, hard tissue in my neck. Advice? (photos)

Question

Two weeks ago tomorrow I had subdermal renuvion in my throat/neck. I developed these deep ridges/bands immediately after the surgery. My doctor is not concerned and says it's just post-surgical lumps and they will go but they're so deep and rigid and don't seem to be fading very much. PS he used vasolipo to go in but did not remove any fat at all. I can't find any other references to this result anywhere online.

Thanks for your question. I would bet that by now you have seen some resolution of those firm areas? Having that occur in the first few weeks is very common. These are areas of fatty tissue and soft tissues that are swollen and they become hard and can be tender. Massage and gentle heat can help. Potentially, fluid can become trapped in those areas (seroma), but in the neck, I would anticipate them going away in time. Best wishes

YOu are right, this lumpy hard tissue is a response to the injury of the procedure and is very common in the neck.  I treat  this with micro steroid injections every couple weeks which hurrys the softening of the woodiness.
