you need skin removal plain and simple. J plasma/renuvion or Bodytite will do minimal if nothing and will make this look worse. you need proper liposuction, internal heating and skin removal at the same time. You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. Traditional liposuction awake and smart liposuction are old methods and do very poorly for tightening skin or significant skin tightening or contouring. Small problem areas can be improved slightly by these methods. The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heat the skin with radio-frequency devices such as J PLASMA/RENUVION, InMode BodyTite, ThermiRF to heat the under surface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HIDEF VASER contouring and can only be done by a well . trained body contouring specialist. At the same time fat should be harvested, PRP and stem cells added and injected into muscles or indentations/cellulite to get body shaping and contouring. This is known as a Brazilian butt lift when you inject the fat to the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face. Cellulite should also be treated with cellfina, sculptra, subcision and/or fillers such as bellafill, renuva synthetic fat, or sculptra. If skin is very loose before surgery then it will need to be removed such as lower abdominal skin (tummy tuck/abdominoplasty), breast skin (breast lift), arm skin (brachioplasty). Overall you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting. Thank you for your photos. I would suggest a mini or a full tummy tuck, skin only if you are a candidate post evaluation, paired with supplemental liposuction . This would be your best option for a tight and contoured abdomen. I do not believe non invasive methods would be beneficial for you and might even make matters worse by creating more laxity in the skin. Please see a board certified plastic surgeon for an in person consultation to assess what procedure will best give you the results you are looking for.
Thank you for your pictures and questions. In my opinion, I have not been wowed by any of the skin tightening devices and none of those results get close to excess skin removal. Furthermore, if you already have a scar there, what is the downside of proceeding with a tummy tuck to revise the scar and remove the excess skin all together? It would result in a much better contour overall.Hope this helps!Dallas R. Buchanan, MD, FACSOwner & Board-Certified Plastic SurgeonVIVIFY plastic surgery
In my opinion, there is fat and lax skin on your abdomen. First, a non-invasive fat removal or repeat liposuction is suggested. This can be followed by skin tightening with microneedle radiofrequency or micro focused ultrasound. An alternative would be the Profound unit in the subcutaneous setting as it may tighten the skin and remove some of the fat.Jeff Rapaport MD FAADRealself All-star
For loose skin J plasma will do much more tightening then any non invasive option . It’s literally no contest in the amount of contraction obtained from renuvion /J plasma versus other modalities
Dear Albany,The best procedure to get rid of the loose skin and extra volume of the lower tummy would be a combination of liposuction of the area and a mini tummy tuck so the skin can be completely removed.Renuvion can help with mild to moderate skin tightening, but there will still be loose skin in this case.Other non surgical options would give inferior results for the cost and your time, in comparison to the above alternate options.Best. Thank you for your questionYou may still have some swelling, which may last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease any swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for...
Thank you for sharing. It would be best to assess you with multiples pictures angles to really be able to gauge the level of skin laxity you have. Based on the fact that you have not had any pregnancies yet, you might be a good candidate for the J plasma alone. The J plasma will give you a good...
Thanks for your question. I would bet that by now you have seen some resolution of those firm areas? Having that occur in the first few weeks is very common. These are areas of fatty tissue and soft tissues that are swollen and they become hard and can be tender. Massage and gentle heat can help...
