I’ve always disliked my nose, it’s too big for my smaller facial features. My nostrils are too round and flared, especially when smiling. I also believe I have a bulbous tip. I’ve been researching surgeons for some while and realized what I need would a Tip plasty or Alarplasty. I need a surgeon who specializes in this. I’d like my nostrils to be more narrow and my rounded tip more refined. I don’t want big or dramatic changes. I’m 29, Hispanic with combination skin.

Alarplasty: an alar plasty is performed to reduce the width of the alar base. You do not show any photos of your alar base before and after “pinching“ it, so it is difficult to tell if that simulation is accurate
Can an alar plasty cause valvular collapse? There are two sets of valves. The internal valves which are sometimes the subject of collapse after rhinoplasty are not affected by an Alarplasty. But the nostril openings constitute the external valves and if the alar plasty is done too aggressively...
There are two options. One is to operate only on the flaring nostrils. The other is to perform a full rhinoplasty which would refine the tip and narrow the bridge. I think either would be acceptable.
