Visible incision on nostril after rhinoplasty - what are my options? (photos)

I had rhinoplasty with nostril reduction 6 months ago. The incision in my right nostril never looked closed and it's not getting any better even after 6 months. My surgeon dismissed my concerns and after me insisting that it doesn't look right, he just said we have to wait a year. Should I wait a full year even if I haven't seen any improvement? And what are the options/cost after a year?

Alarplasty incisions can be revised. A one year waiting period is ideal. The scar tissue continues to mature and at that point there is no inflammation that can effect the healing. 
Also, very important to remember that nobody will look at your nose like in the photograph. No one can see the difference as people talk to you face to face and this incision will be a non issue. However, if it bothers you it can be improved.

Your right nostril narrowing incision is more visible, but you have good symmetry at the base of your nose. Scar revision may not improve your nasal appearance on front view, and this may be something to live with, depending on your examination. Dr Joseph

Revising an alar incision: I would wait the full year to let scar tissue subside. At that point a revision under local is a small procedure that can be done
