I’m going to ask my surgeon too, but I wanted to get a gist of how long for these things. Plus some of them I feel uncomfortable asking my surgeon directly lol. How long until you can- 1. exercise (ab workouts, light weights) 2. open your mouth wide for a long time (like at the dentist) 3. make out (noses potentially hit against each other) I haven’t seen much info about the last two.

Answer: Workout, open mouth, and making out after rhino Hello, Thank you for your thoughtful questions. Regarding exercise, we recommend 25% exercise at 1 week and 50% at 2 weeks, 75% at 3 weeks and 100% by one month. Gradually increase reps and weight. Regarding open mouth, make sure you are ready and not force your mouth (1 month is recommended). Lastly, making out- be careful to contact to nose if you are aggressive give yourself more time.

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello and thank you for your question. I allow my patients to exercise one week after surgery and go for dental appointments at two months. It is best to be gentle with your nose at first when kissing. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
