I had a necktite procedure and closed platysotomy. It left me with no submental fat, loose skin and looking much worse. My question is, can the middle of my neck be raised and moulded under my chin during a neck/facelift? Just knowing it's possible will put my mind at ease. I'm 54, and had a lot of healthy fat also above my jawline that was removed without my knowledge or consent.
Answer: Post Treatment Neck Deformity Since I don't perform the "Necktight" procedure, I can't speak to that directly. However, based on your photos, I would suggest a standard necklift to lift and support your platysma muscles both under the chin and perhaps also laterally towards the back of your neck, as well a general redraping and smoothing of your neck skin. Unfortunately, you have minimal subcutaneous fat to cover the neck muscles, so there will likely be persistent visibility of muscle fibers to some degree.

Answer: Facelifing may be your answer I'm sorry to hear about your experience. A neck lift, in combination with a facelift, may indeed be able to address the concerns you've mentioned. During this surgery, the skin and muscle is raised and sculpted on a deeper level, and any excess skin laxity is removed. It's important to communicate your specific concerns and goals to whoever your surgeon is, so they can tailor a treatment plan that aligns with your expectations. They can also provide insights into how a neck lift can improve the appearance of the neck area and discuss the possibility of achieving the results you're seeking. Given your unique circumstances, a thorough consultation will provide you with a better understanding of the potential outcomes and help you make an informed decision about your next steps. I would recommend considering a deep plane facelift with possibly CO2 laser at the same time or after you fully recover.

Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Neck Hello, Thank you for your question and sorry to hear about your result. Based on your photos, a necklift will certainly help. Keep in mind that it will likely never be a perfect result since the soft tissue has been removed but there are certainly things that can be done to make it MUCH better. This can be done wide awake using local anesthesia and oral medications to help you relax. Patients do incredibly well with this and it avoids the side effects of general anesthesia. Mark G.
