I'm only 36, and I think my eyes look terrible. Please recommend any procedures to help with these lines and crepiness in the inner corners. I will try anything at this point. Thanks!
Answer: Please do not punish your eyelids with bad surgery because you think they look "terrible." You will talk yourself into a bad blepharoplasty. First, there is no substitute for a detailed, in person consultation. A "Zoom" consultation is no substitute. The upper eyelids need lateral canthal stablization. repair of you central levator disinsertion, and careful upper eyelid anchor blepharoplasty to make a new lower upper eyelid crease, You likely have very little excessive upper eye skin-less is more. The lower eyelids have minimal issue likely can be addressed with a chemical peel. Your eyes can be your best feature.

Answer: Botox Works Well For Crow's Feet Wrinkles & Under-Eye Crinkles With Smiling At least from the photos, it appears that the crepiness on the sides of the eyes (crow's feet wrinkles) and the under-eye area are related to smiling and are not present at rest. If so, then a few microdroplets of Botox to the sides of the eyes and underneath can help to diminish these. If the under-eye crinkles remain at rest, then a series of superficial peels can be helpful for rejuvenating this area. You would be wise to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist and best of luck.

Answer: Eye procedures to help with these lines and crepiness in the inner corners? Your skin overall appears nice and youthful. Eyelid skin is very thin and delicate, and is among the first and most obvious areas of skin to visibly age. Over the long term, application of tretinoin 0.05 or 0.1% cream nightly or several times weekly along with UV (sun exposure) avoidance and/or protection during the day will reduce the fine lines at the sides of your eyes. Neuromodulator (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Nabota, or other) treatment may also help. To really smooth that skin and erase the lines, CO2 or Erbium laser resurfacing or Croton oil peel. For lasting smoothness and youthful lower eyelid skin, laser and/or very well done surgical blepharoplasty are the gold standards.

Answer: Typical facial aging in 36-year-old Caucasian female The best thing you can do for yourself is prevent further sun damage by wearing daily sunscreen and avoid extensive sun exposure. Other than that you can try Botox, chemical peels, laser resurfacing, or consider an upper blepharoplasty. Most of the issues are due to sun damage, which is more or less irreversible. RetinA may be helpful. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD.
