I just had my 7 day post op BA appt. today and my doctor said I don't need to wear them anymore. I was feeling fine with just the bra touching my incisions but after cooking dinner for my family and cleaning up, the incision area (especially under my R breast) is irritated and bothersome. I'm thinking the pads may help to ease the pain. Will they interfere with healing? Also, I noticed my R incision scar is raised while my L is not. My doc said I was healing just fine. Am I overreacting?
