I have a wide scar after having three transplant procedures. It is slightly pink compared to the surrounding scalp. The scar looks and feels smooth and flat. Are wider scars tougher to conceal? Is there a chance that the scar can widen again after the revision surgery?

Answer: Scalp micro-pigmentation will make it Hi Pitt82If you are shaving your head to get scalp micro-pigmentation then you don’t have to worry about the scar. We usually camouflage scars by using scalp micro-pigmentation and making it blend with the rest and the results have been great. Give it a try but make sure that you go to a professional that has the ability and experience to make this work and look naturally.Best of lucks!

Answer: SMP to camouflage scars If you are shaving your head, or keeping your hair long enough to cover the scar, scalp micro pigmentation will camouflage the area and the scar will not be visible. Scar revision is always another option.
