Scalp Micropigmentation SMP can be a great adjunct after hair transplant surgery to add the look of fullness.  You don't need to shave if you don't want the shaved look.  Many men and women with thinning hair have SMP.

SMP can act as a background color in patients who keep their hair longer to make the hair look fuller. SMP can also be useful to disguise widening of the hair part or provide the appearance of hair in a scarred area such as a donor scar from a hair transplant.

SMP has value with the hair shaved or with it long by giving it a darker scalp which makes the hair look fuller. We use SMP on existing hair transplant patients frequently when they want to look fuller without an additional hair transplant
