Concerns about nose trauma & webbed eyes (possibly Epicanthic Fold)? (Photo)

Question

I have had two separate incidents that have resulted in nose trauma. One of this incidents resulted in a 9 degree shift in my nose but niether accidents caused any breaking or serious fractures. Both of these incidents happened when I was in middle school/high school, I'm graduating college soon. Just recently discovered this weird webbing on the inner corners of my eyes and I have had some decrease in breathing out of my left nostril. Is there anything I can do? Is there even anything wrong?

Injury to the nose can result in a varying degree of changes in the shape of the nose, all of which can be corrected. It is unusual to have any lasting change in the nose shape without breaking the nose bones.Your nose is slightly deviated to the left and your tip seems wider than ideal. The right nostril is slightly higher and wider than the left. Considering these and your breathing issue on the left side you may want to consult a plastic surgeon focused on rhinoplasty.Good luck

In all honesty, I don't consider your photos to show a major deformity, and as such, I would advise a patient like you NOT to consider surgery.

Thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, it is very difficult to answer your questions. Your epicentral distance looks normal. If you are having breathing problems as well as concerns about your appearance, I recommend you consulting with a board certified Plastic Surgeon. During the consultation all of your questions and concerns will be address so you can make an informed decision.

Looks like a bit of soft tissue swelling but these are not epicanthal folds. You might have some sinus issues. Consult your physician.
