How many days before a wedding can I do Botox? I am afraid of a reaction.

Botox is not used to treat the kinds of wrinkles you mention. Those would be best smoothed out with hyaluronic-acid based fillers. You can use Botox to treat forehead wrinkles and crow’s feet, as well as a number of other cosmetic issues. It may take up to two weeks for Botox’s full effects to be realized. I usually recommend doing botox anywhere from 2-4 weeks before an event. For some people, botox can take 14 days to see the final effects. But some people see results after 1 week. If it is your first time trying botox, you won't know how long it takes, but most likely you will see some results of the botox by the wedding if you had it done in the next 1-2 days.

Hi, thank you for your question. With the wedding only 10 days away I would wait until after your event to have Botox if this is your first time. As Im sure you would likely have no issues, you want to give yourself time to heal in case there are any unintended side effects, like bruising or an uneven result. I would suggest waiting until after.

Hello Sabeen! I would recommend getting Botox injections at least 2 weeks prior to any important event. It will take 5-7 days before you can see any result from the Botox and you want to give yourself time for any potential bruising to resolve. I would get to an injector as soon as possible if your event is on the 27th. Best of luck!
