I just massaged it for a second or two, but now I'm spooked that I've done something wrong. I don't know how long I should have waited to touch the area but I guess I was trying to massage out the soreness a little or see if I could get the bump to go down a little. It is right where the needle went in. It kind of feels like a bruise, I guess. Did I just mess up my results? Is 2 days enough time to get a facial massage or do some heavy duty exfoliation, too? Thanks!

Answer: Had botoxfor the first time in my 11s on the 9th. There is a small sore bump or raised area above my left eyebrow. Advice?
Thank you for your question. It is common to have some swelling after any injection and can take up to 2 weeks to resolve. You can help reduce swelling by applying cold compresses to the treated area. If you have any other concerns please follow up with your injector. Best of Luck!
Botox injections can cause bruising from a small capillary rupture.
Hematomas and bruises will reabsorb within a few days and the pain will improve.
Even though the area is sensitive I would recommend a little ice for the next 24 hours.

Thank you for your question. Yes, you can still have Botox injections as honey does not contain botulinum toxin. I still advise you to mention any allergies to your injector prior to treatment. I also recommend having a consultation with an expert injector to determine the best treatment plan...
