Hi, thanks for your question, sorry you are experiencing discomfort. If Botox is injected with a lot of fluid dilution, it can take some time for that swollen tissue to calm down. I always recommend seeing a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon for injections and follow ups.&nbsp;

I got Botox last Wednesday 5 days ago and have had white swelling or discoloration/fluid collection (not sure?) about a nickel to quarter size with bruise in center. is this white fluid looking spot normal? nurse injector said she was not concerned when she saw it a few days ago but she also said it should improve more quickly. what could be causing this white looking area? if i press on the white area it turns pink for a moment/indents very slightly. not tender.

Hi, thank you for your question. Botox should not cause tenderness in an old injury. If the injury happens to be directly where the botox was placed, minor discomfort from the injection is possible. But, if its constant and not improving I&nbsp;would return to where you had it injected and confirm there are no other underlying issues. Good luck.&nbsp;

Can Botox injections in the forehead make a previous injury to your head tender?

Hi, thank you so much for your question. As suggested, wait at least 2 full weeks before you judge the full result. At rest all looks good, and the dimpling&nbsp;looks as though its resolved. You do, however, have other muscles that are working causing that protrusion. You could let the botox wear off, as a few units will not last more than a couple of months, or you could see a board certified dermatologist in person to potentially inject in the other areas to soften those muscles.&nbsp;

Dear doctors, I have received 4 units of Botox (2 on each side, I wished for a subtle effect) in my chin seven days ago. When I strain the muscle there is protruding bulging noticable. I'm wondering if I should get it corrected already since the full effect is usually there after a week when I get my forehead or frown lines treated. I also wonder if a correction would be possible at all... Thank you very much in advance!

Hi, thank you for your post. Certain fillers can absolutely give you back that volume loss in your cheeks and temples. Ones that can help give you a great result are Voluma and Sculptra. I dont see your scalp in these photos, but if you are experiencing hair loss or think or your skin is changing that dramatically, setting up an appointment with a board certified dermatologist is something I would recommend so you can get a medical evaluation too. It seems like the contour of my face has changed even though I am only 27. Two years ago, I felt like I had more volume in the scalp, brow, and temple areas. My cheeks protrude more when I smile and it seems like the balance is off in my face where as a few years ago, everything seemed more balanced. My eyes seem to have sunk and downturned. Can filler in the forehead and temple region lift the brows and restore that shape and sensation that I remembered? I want to look very subtle and natural.

Hi, thank you for posting your question. Dermal filler is a great option to help with some chin projection. There are specific filler products made that help with forming structure, instead of just filling lines. If dont correctly, the placement can enhance the groove if you want as well. I have a somewhat receded chin that I would like to bring forward with filler. I have this barely noticible cleft chin that you can see in certain lighting and I'm afraid it will go away with dermal filler. Is there a way to keep, or even enhance it with filler?

Hi, thank you so much for your question! There are many tools that can be used to help with lines, superficial and deeper, on the face. I would seek a board certified dermatologist who can first get you on a skin regimen that will help maintain results of any procedure you do. That includes sunscreen every single day and starting on a retinal type of product at night. In terms of specific treatments for the lines, there are multiple modalities that can help, each with different down times and price points. Microneedling with platelet rich plasma, non ablative skin resurfacing lasers or fractionated ablative lasers all can help soften the appearance of lines. (Also sleeping on your back can be helpful too!)

Thank you for your question and posting pictures. It is hard to tell because it appears your first pictures is of you lying down and the second one is you upright. If a hyaluronic filler was used then it can be dissolved with injections. I would return to where you had the injections done, ask to see the before and afters and see if maybe they were there previously but maybe werent noticed. I am sure your injector wants you to be happy and confident and will help you get to that point. Good luck!

I had 2 ml filler in left side cheek under orbital area cheek but it's now left me with this bag looking hollow, I don't know what to do. If I get in the tear trough it will make my eyes appear smaller, can I remove this filler and will it leave Lasting hollow? These are before and after.

Hi, thank you for posting pictures with your question. I would immediately go back to where you got injected. If you are experiencing pain post procedure its important for you to be evaluated in person by them as soon as you can. The small pustules can be a reaction if they put something that irritated or occluded your skin, like aquaphor or Vaseline afterwards. I would gently cleanse the area and make an appointment with the office you were injected at.&nbsp;

I got a nose filler last 3 days (This is my second time nose filler in a year) My nose is so red and hurt in 2nd day. But today morning (3rd day) there are plenty of small pus around. Is this because of too much filler block to blood circulation? or it is because of virus infection?

Hi, unfortunately there is a lot of misinformation out there today. DO NOT inject yourself with anything. When dermatologists use 'saltwater' we are using a sterile saline liquid, it is completely different. You risk a severe infection or worse. Please go to a board certified dermatologist in person if you have any questions or concerns about fillers. They can go over your anatomy and what procedures would work best for you.

Hello, I read once that some docters inject saltwater to give you a clue on how fillers would look like. Is this true? How long does they last? And cant you just basically do that on yourself? Saltwater is not dangerous to get under the skin? Couldent I just go buy saltwater and a cannula on the pharmacy?

Can saltwater be used as a temporary filler?
