I had brow, forehead, crows feet and between brows injections. My far is swollen. I have under eye bags at I never had. One eyebrow is higher than the other and my brows are so swollen I look like the avatar only less blue. It was my first time and the dermatologist is out of town. Is this normal swelling?
Answer: Swelling after Botox This is more than the typical reaction to Botox, but it doesn’t necessarily mean anything is wrong. You can google “lymphatic massage” and perform those movements on yourself using very light touch. Between that and ice every morning this should resolve soon. You can also go to GNC or a similar store to get arnica to reduce swelling. It comes in pill and topical form, and you can use both together. If it isn’t better in the next 2-3 days, you could consider seeing your dermatologist or Family doctor for a dose of steroids, but they can have side effects, so I’d avoid them if possible.

Answer: Swelling after Botox Thank you for your question. It is common to have some swelling after any injection and can take up to 2 weeks to resolve. You can help reduce swelling by applying cold compresses to the treated area. If you have any other concerns please follow up with your injector. Best of Luck!

Answer: Swelling after Botox injections Swelling after any type of injection is common. It may take up to two weeks before it goes away. Rarely, fluid can build up under the eyes after Botox injections around the eyes due to the decrease of lymphatic drainage from relaxed muscles. It will get better over time and will fully resolve as the Botox wear off. Gentle massage to the area and cool compress will help with undereye swelling. Uneven brows can easily be fixed. I recommend following up with your injector. All the best, Dr. Michon

Answer: Botox injections 4 days ago and swelling is worsening each day, is this normal swelling? Since it has been 4 days post injection and the #1 issue of swelling as per your statement is not improving I would seek in person second opinion from expert injecting MD. Might offer a regime of steroids by mouth. The next issue #2. is uneven effect upon the lateral eyebrows. Either to much or to low injection on the left brow or to little on the right. Only a touch up to even out or wait for the effect to metabolize away over the next few months.
