I'm looking for opinions on the efficacy of this treatment or recommendations for alternative treatments. Important to note that I am working on surviving stage 3C cancer and have had extensive radiation treatment to this area. Particularly to the upper chest area as this was where the majority of the cancerous lymph nodes were concentrated. Thanks for your help!

Answer: Treating chest wrinkles: many options Chest wrinkles can be caused by chronic sun damage so treating the sun damage may be the first thing to consider. Laser resurfacing, particularly Fraxel, in experienced hands is safe and effective, even on delicate skin. Multiple treatments at low energy might be the way to go. Ulthera and Thermage are both non invasive skin tightening treatments that work by stimulating your own collagen. If the area to be treated has had a lot of sun (and/or radiation) it may not respond as well as we like. After resurfacing ( and good skin care) the skin will be healthier and probably will respond to tightening better. Deep lines may benefit from fillers or Sculptra, sometime Botox is helpful. Using a multifaceted approach designed for individual needs is generally best rather than a one size fits all approach. Evaluation by an experienced cosmetic dermatologist will answer a lot of the questions.

Answer: Ultherapy to reduce wrinkles on décolletage Thank you for your inquiry. For non-surgical treament of the décolletage, Ultherapy is a good option. Using ultrasound technology, Ulthera uses focused ultrasound to lift and tighten loose skin over time, without any downtime. Other treatments or a combination may also be an option (e.g. laser, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, fillers). It's a good idea to get a second in-person opinion from a qualified, experienced medical professional.
