Is there any way to remove the threads from a BBL?

Question

I had a BBL with threads about 8 years ago and have suffered from pain in the area ever since. Unfortunately, now I have a very noticeable divet where the threads are pulling. It's terrible. Is there any way to cut or remove these threads? I'm at the point where I won't go to the beach or pool and am pretty self-conscious and the pain only reminds me.

The threads used are made out of permanent material.  They are difficult to remove but can probably be pulled out using enough force. It would require making an incision then digging around to find them in the first place then an attempt at pulling them out or loosening the tissues around them so that they don't pull. Dealing with a single suture is one thing but when it comes to having multiple ones removed the task becomes fairly extensive and may be far more than you really want to go through.  I would imagine each one will require an incision of at least an inch if not longer.  A lot depends on how close to the skin surface the end is.  If there are a few single debits that are worse than others that I may be worthwhile trying to deal with those first. These type of decisions or recommendations can really not be made through a post on real self.
