Why does the butt look boxy? Can this be fixed with a reduction or liposuction? (photos)

I had a Brazilian butt lift in 2015, now the butt looks boxy and the fat injection to the hips looks lopsided can this be fixed? Maybe like a reduction or liposuction to the butt, hips and inner thighs.

Thank you for your question.If the result is good or not....this can only be said comparing with before fotos.I will therefore limit advice to analyzing the current situation.I think you would benefit from lower hip expansion. Also, the liposuction should go lower.Decisive for a great result in BBL is waist shaoing in the zone below the bony edge of your pelvis. we call this the BIC (below iliac crest) zone.This is technically rewarding. I opine that BIC liposuction together with lower hip expansion fatgrafting should give you a great improvement. See attached video for case example !Hope that helps !

Depending upon your ultimate goals, sculpting with liposuction to better contour and even things out may be a good option. If further augmentation is what is desired then buttock and/or cosmetic hip implants may be your best reliable and permanent option. Glad to help.

This will depend upon the extent of the revision that is necessary. A larger butt than desired after a BBL can be liposuctioned to improve contours by an expert in the field. The revision implies that scar tissue will make the surgery much more difficult on the surgeon. This needs to be done very carefully to avoid skin sagging. This can be tricky as skin and tissue distensibility may preclude any further improvement in shape or dimension with revisional attempts. Selection of a board certified plastic surgeon who has performed numerous successful  BBL revisions is key to the outcome.

Based on your photos, you are an excellent candidate for a BBL revision. You demonstrate too much upper-pole fullness and not enough lower-pole fullness. Your legs are also currently too thin for the size of your buttocks, which we could improve with some fat grafting to your things.The optimal BBL outcomes are achieved with: 1) use of VASER liposuction to harvest the fat, 2) a closed looped system such as Puregraft to process the fat, and 3) strategic micro-packet transplant technique. These three processes have demonstrated over 95% fat graft take. This means that your results will be stable as long as you maintain your weight.
