Why does the butt look boxy? Can this be fixed with a reduction or liposuction? (photos)

Thank you for your question.If the result is good or not....this can only be said comparing with before fotos.I will therefore limit advice to analyzing the current situation.I think you would benefit from lower hip expansion. Also, the liposuction should go lower.Decisive for a great result in BBL is waist shaoing in the zone below the bony edge of your pelvis. we call this the BIC (below iliac crest) zone.This is technically rewarding. I opine that BIC liposuction together with lower hip expansion fatgrafting should give you a great improvement. See attached video for case example !Hope that helps !

This will depend upon the extent of the revision that is necessary. A larger butt than desired after a BBL can be liposuctioned to improve contours by an expert in the field. The revision implies that scar tissue will make the surgery much more difficult on the surgeon. This needs to be done very carefully to avoid skin sagging. This can be tricky as skin and tissue distensibility may preclude any further improvement in shape or dimension with revisional attempts. Selection of a board certified plastic surgeon who has performed numerous successful  BBL revisions is key to the outcome.
