I went to see Dr. Marcovici for a skin condition and because my face looked tired and dull. Dr. Marcovici suggested the E-Light with IPL. He warned me that the improvement would not happen overnight and I had to be a little patient. True to his word, I can definitely see a significant improvement in my face. The condition has improved and my face is so much softer looking. Dr. Marcovici is a wonderful doctor and makes you feel comfortable. More importantly, he listens to your concerns and works with you. I felt completely comfortable with him and his staff during all my visits and plan to return when the need arises. I highly recommend the E-Light with IPL - with Dr. Marcovici.
I had an awesome experience and would do it again with Dr. Marcovici. He is a wonderful, experienced physician and his staff made it so easy. I felt completely comfortable through the entire procedure. Had liposculpture of my outer thighs, belly and love handles. It was then transferred into my labia majora and hands. Recovery was quick and easy. I couldn't be happier.
I’m 2 weeks post op today. I’ve been crying for days now. I’ve never been so depressed in my life. Yes I know it’s too soon to look at the final results but my skin is getting more lax and crepey by the day. I’m 5’3 130 lbs I still had an extra 5 from the winter. I exercise 5-6 days a week and eat clean. I lost 75lbs 6 yrs ago and I’ve kept it off. I’ll be 58 next week I had 3 kids. I’m literally sick to my stomach thinking I’ll either have to live with this or do this all over again. Is this part of the healing process? Updated on 5 Oct 2021: I went to him because he was listed as Plastic/Cosmetic Surgeon and sold a less invasive Tummy Tuck/Lipo, he sold me. I had 2 children and lost a significant amount of weight that I had kept off for 6 yrs. I exercise at least 5 days a week and I'm fit but I could not exercise the loose skin and Diastasis away. I had been told during previous consultations by plastic surgeons that I had Diastasis, he told me it was only in my lower abdomen. I trusted him. I knew almost immediately something wasn't right. I never felt any tightness in my abdomen. In fact I was up walking perfectly fine within days. I noticed a LOT of excess skin which I didn't have before above my belly button. As the swelling went down I realized my belly button is high and off center. More excess skin than before due to the Lipo. I have since gone and had consultations with Plastic Surgeons and will need a full Major Abdominoplasty, my belly button removed and reconstructed at a later date. According to them, the Diastasis was not corrected and the lipo is uneven so I will need to get that fixed as well. When I went for the surgery I was 136.2 lbs. My 6 month post op I am 133 lbs. My physical and mental health are ruined!! This is not a matter of personal opinion or looking for perfection which he told me was my issue. He offered to redo it but there is no way. I have found a Board Certified Plastic surgeon who will do it, he doesn't even have words to explain this. All after photos are 6 months post op
Sorry about your accident. To your question: realizing the scar tissue followed by a dermal filler will be very helpful in solving your problem. Good Luck. Dr. Marcovici Aesthetic Medical Center 911 Medical Circle, Myrtle Beach SC 29572 843.945.9999 DrMarcovici.com
In a nutshell only time will tell. Swollen tissue after a surgery is quite common as the tissue reacts to the localized trauma done by the surgical process. If will persist more than 6-8 weeks I suggest to check with your provider (or sooner). Good Luck!
To answer your question it would have been helpful to see also a Before picture in order to judge the degree of improvement achieved. It is very important before any procedure to have a frank discussion with your provider and to express your goals, while the provider will explain to you what is possible to be done. Not two patients are the same. If you still have questions I would recommend to go back to your provider and address them. Good Luck!
I do have issues with the coolsculpting treatments because there is no real control on the dept of the treatment; in other words is lacking the finesse and precision that a liposuction is offering. In addition, patients might need additional procedures to get the expected results and in many cases they need to ad also a skin tightening procedure. Without a picture or a real time evaluation of your condition is really hard to make a recommendation. Good luck!
You should be healed by now from your rhinoplasty. So a treatment with microneedling and plasma rich platelet (PRP) will be safe. Good luck!
