After a consultation for my skin issues, the dermatologist recommended 3 treatments of micro needling with the Eclipse Micropen combined with Platelet Rich Plasma therapy immediately after the micro needling session. I just want to be assured that I am not being up-sold on a procedure that it is not worth the extra money. Is the PRP really worth it? Should I look into IPL or another laser treatment instead? I have redness and acne scarring as seen in attached photo.

Microneedling stimulates collagen growth mechanically while growth factors provide nutrients to stimulate stem cells to grow fresh collagen and elastin.
