I underwent lacrimal gland repair and an upper blepharoplasty. Unfortunately, I was not aware that I would have incision lines visible on the outside of my eyes, aggressive fat and muscle removal, lowered eyebrows, and asymmetry of my eyes. I cannot begin to describe the intense psychological distress this has caused me. I would lik to have my hooded eyes restored, eyebrows raised and arched, crease slightly lowered, ptosis corrected, and eyes symmetrical in size and setting. Thank you!

The upper eyelid incision is carried into a visible area of the eyelid. That is never a good thing. While it is not possible to magically make this disappear, it is possible to revise the outer aspect of the incision with the goal of making the incision much less conspicuous. I do think that your surgery has made both upper eyelids droopy. Regarding the eyebrow, the most obvious thing that I see is a change in the arch on the right side. There appears to be a slight compensatory elevation in the left eyebrow but this may just be relative to the fall in the position of the right eyebrow. There is an interaction between the upper eyelid position and the eyebrow. Generally, then the eyelid falls, the brow develops a compensatory lift. We are not seeing that here so I would be interested to learn precisely what was done at the time of your surgery. I do think that you may benefit from revisional surgery. There is no substitute for a detailed in person assessment.
