Will my arm Lipo get affected if I get pregnant?

Ive undergone an armlipo last sept2014 and now im 6mons pregnant,im wondering if the fat they remove will be back in my arms or My arms be back before the procedure done,because of weight gain

Liposuction involves removal of fat cells.Weight gain from pregnancy or any other cause causes fat cells to increase in size. This will effect the area treated less than other areas, which means that area that was treated with liposuction will not gain as much as other areas since there are less fat cells present to increase in size during weight increase.

Thank you for the question. Liposuction will not remove all of the fat cells from the region being suctioned. When you gain weight now there is a proportional gain in the area of interest. After liposuction you will gain fat in the remaining cells, but because there are less cells the proportion of fat gain in the area is less than before the procedure. As you lose the weight from the pregnancy your arms should go back to pre-pregnancy. I hope this helps.

Your pregnancy will not adversely affect your arm lipo.  You will gain a little weight but that will all revert back after delivery.  My Best,    Dr C
