First of all, what was the purpose of the original rhinoplasty? You only posted a frontal view pre-op, which doesn't show any obvious abnormality to me. Then, the pre-revision does indeed show a significant problem, although really, it'd be the 3/4 and profile views that would give much better information. What were you told that caused the collapse. That kind and severity of a post-surgery complication is *extremely* rare. Then, the third photo, after the reconstruction (still need 3/4 and profiles here) seems to show that the area above the tip is very deficient in strength and cartilage support. What was placed there? rib? Something else? Did it look better and then it looked like it was collapsing again? While it's true that you certainly have some swelling four months after a revision like that, we'd just need much better photos to tell what's going on, and if it's like I described, then the swelling is not at all the culprit, but rather the reconstruction of the cartilage under the skin. You might need another operation. You might need to start over in evaluating your surgeon. Your evaluation may send you to the same place, but don't assume that it's the right thing to do.
