Hello, hope you are well. You have two options to reduce the width of your jaw: masseter botox and jaw contouring. Botox reduces the bulk of the muscle, whereas jaw contouring reduces the bony prominence. Botox is non-invasive but works slowly and usually requires multiple treatments for a more subtle result. The result may not be as long lasting. Jaw contouring is surgery under general anesthesia with an immediate and permanent result (once swelling has subsided). The surgery is performed through the mouth and leaves no visible incisions/scars, with a more dramatic outcome. We specialize in this surgery at The Spiegel Center, and would happy to discuss further in consultation.Best,Dr. Tower
I address this several times each week. We actually reshape the jaw to the shape you desire for a more tapered and attractive look. Takes about an hour. Watch our videos to learn more.
You are a great candidate for a Genioplasty. Your chin is a bit recessed and short. This procedure would bring your chin forward and down, creating more projection and adding length and definition to your jawline. It will also tighten the skin under your chin. The entire procedure is done...
I would recommend chin reduction surgery in your case. It appears to be both long and over projected. In general, a smaller and less projected chin is considered more feminine. Smiling usually exacerbates the problem so I usually inject botox to diminish the effects of the muscles.
