Indentation of Left Flank? Can this problem be resolved?

I have a horizontal indentation of my left flank muscle after having had lipoabdominoplasty. The muscle bulges and there is a horizontal wrinkle underneath it, approximately 3 inches in length. I have been massaging it for weeks, but I don't see any changes. I wore my compression binder for 5 weeks, only removing it for a shower. I'm not sure if my compression garment created it, or the garment reduced the swelling so now I can see it? Can this problem be resolved?

A physical evaluation is needed in this case to determine the nature of the indentation, possible causes, and appropriate treatment.  Swelling can be present for several weeks after liposuction.  Schedule an appointment with your surgeon for an assessment.  She/He will advise how to proceed.

To make an assessment regarding the outcome of the plastic surgery procedure we generally need to see quality before and after pictures. If you don’t have before, and after pictures of an ask your surgeon to forward the ones they took. Without seeing pictures, we can’t begin to make an assessment. With this type of work, a picture is worth 1000 words or more.
Try reposting, including a complete set of proper before and after pictures.
