Personally, I do all liposuction with patients awake using local anesthesia with mild sedation.
I’ve done 10,000 Liposuction cases using this type of sedation.
Other plastic surgeons will have their own preferred type of anesthesia. I suggest you defer to your surgeons recommendations.
