Best procedure to make my eyes more attractive? (photos)

Question

I do not like the look of my eyes and I'm looking into surgery to make them more attractive. I have been told by people that I look like a serial killer and angry all the time because of my eyes. It's interfering with my life and I need a solution. On my neutral face, I have slight inferior scleral show. I look tired all the time, even when with 8 hrs of sleep. I raise my upper eyelids and it looks like I'm a deer in headlights. Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

Its really hard to make a judgment by the pictures you posted, but I would say that there is always something that can be done to make your eyes look less tired and more pleasing. I would recommend you going to see an oculoplastic surgeon in person to discuss options. Hope this helps.

The ptosis is slightly worse on the right side.  You also have bilateral upper eyelid lash ptosis.  This can be corrected with an approach I call micro structured blepharoplasty at which time an anterior levator aponeurosis ptosis repair can be performed.  Most surgeons will be uncomfortable operating on such a small amount of upper eyelid ptosis.  You need an aesthetically oriented eyelid surgeon for this.  This is not blepharoplasty.  The ptosis repair is specialized.

Thank you for your question.As an artist , I can tell you what happens above and below the eyelids affects the eyes. Your brows appear droopy. If you can see the whites underneath the eyes  (sclera) we need to evaluate if you have poor lower eyelid tone.When I lecture to plastic surgeons I take pictures out of fashion magazines like Vogue. You will notice on the models,that the outer eyebrows are elevated , the cheeks are full, the eyelid cheek crease is close to the eyelashes and the nasal labial folds are only minimally noticeable. I helped to to pioneer endoscopic brow and cheek lift surgery.This is a minimally invasive operation . Small incisions are made in the scalp and lower eyelid . The surgery is performed utilizing a small tv camera.

I believe you would have some alternatives prior to jumping into surgery. One facial anatomy feature that can give the impression of anger or fatigue is the low level of the eyebrows. A subtle lift of the eyebrows may be produced by small doses of Botox in strategic locations. A trial Botox injection might be a safe and effective way to give you a small amount of lift. It is not permanent, but may provide enough improvement to make you happy. If this approach works for you, you may need to have it repeated every 3-6 months to maintain a result. If a trial of Botox is not satisfactory, then there are surgical options to lift the eyebrows. My patients with low brows at a young age are generally very pleased with a small direct brow lift which may be done in the office. Other options may be more involved.
