I feel like my nose is to big for my face and the tip is bulbous and large. my nose looks fine from some angles. I would like to have my bridge defined and my tip pointier. What do you guys recommend?
Answer: Rhinoplasty candidate, some advices: Thank you very much for the question. In this regard, After having analyzed all the info. and photos provided to us, i recommend you perform an Open Full Rhinoplasty, includding narrowing of the nasal base and nostrils, with nasal bones treatment (controled fracture) and alar + triangular nasal cartilages re-shaping.With this procedure you get a delicate nose, better harmonize with your other facial features.Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-

Answer: Nose shape in selfies and other pictures Hi. Great question! The reason your nose looks different in many pictures it is due to camera angles and lighting and even the camera distant from your nose and the camera diameter. The same exact nose can look extremely different depending on the factors above. Selfies always look the worse due to light refraction secondary to a small phone camera lens size and the close distance to the face. This is why when we take pictures we try to use the same set up and same camera and same distance and same lighting as much as possible to make sure there are no camera or lighting artifacts. With that said I do think that reducing your tip and nostril width and raising your bridge slightly can make the overall appearance more attractive.

Answer: Rhinoplasty and chin implant combination The photographs demonstrate an overly projecting nose, and an under projecting chin. A rhinoplasty procedure can accomplish building up the bridge of the nose, narrowing the bridge, narrowing the tip and narrowing the nostrils. A chin implant can be placed through a sub-mental incision to give an augmentation to the chin to help with facial balance and proportions, especially with respect to the projection of the nose. For many examples, please see the link below

Answer: Rhinoplasty You might want to consider a rhinoplasty to soften some of the features that you are concerned about. Some limitations will be related to the thick tissues.

Answer: Rhinoplasty Thanks for the question. It is common for the nose to appear different as you vary the angle of the photo due to the complex 3D structure of the nose. Based on the photos you provided, I do feel that you could benefit from alar base narrowing and dorsal augmentation. This would improve your profile. You may also want to consider non-surgical rhinoplasty if you want a temporary solution so you can see what the result may look like. Good luck!
