I had upper+lower eyelid surgery 6 mo ago. Despite the Dr. saying the scars would be "unnoticeable" within a month I still have very visible scars under the eyes. For one eye there was tension and the skin did not heal properly, leading to a deep scar under the eye. I consulted with one eye surgeon who said there is "nothing we can do". Is this true? Is there really no way to correct this? I find people constantly touching their eyes when the speak to me and it's making me very self-conscious.
