10 days post. Are those holes going to go away? And will my eyelids stay that wrinkly and uneven? (photo)

10 days post-blepharoplasty is much to early to determine the final results. Usually, there is more redness initially with resorbable sutures but the incision should heal fine (holes will go away). In some cases, i will use a CO2 laser to improve the upper eyelid incision at 3 months. Be sure to discuss your concerns with your surgeon. Again, 10 post-op is very early in the recovery stage following this type of surgery.

In my opinion, the blepharoplasty is contributing to the older appearance by skeletonizing the upper eyelids. The incisions are not ideal. What is true is that some of these changes will soften as you heal. It they are still not to your liking by month 3, I recommend looking into revisional eyelid surgery. There is help for this.

Hello arrakisadara,Those holes will granulate in and close up. Not to worry. If you have an unacceptable scar at that point it can be addressed possibly with surgery. In the end your appearance wil be fine and I believe you will be happy with your results. Have this discussion with your surgeon or seek out an expert Oculoplastic surgeon  for further management. Thank you for the question.Sorry to hear what your going throughYou are still early in the helming process.Would follow up closely with your surgeon.  The incision itself should heal fine and for the asymmetry would discuss with your surgeon and compare before and afters to see if revision would be an option.

Dear Arrakis, I am sorry to hear that your experience has been so traumatizing when you have already had trauma in your life. The holes that you are seeing will fill in and hopefully your incisions will settle. I have answered one of your earlier posts so you know that I am not a fan of dissolvable sutures. Personally, I cut the sutures in upper lid blepharoplasty at day three and then remove them completely on day five so that their is no visible incision.
