CoolSculpting is not indicated for lipomas, and is not FDA approved for treatment of lipomas. I would not expect a major improvement with CS treatment.
Hi,Thanks for your question. CoolSculpting will not remove lipomas. I recommend a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon or dermatologic surgeon for removal. Good luck.
Lipomas need to be removed with surgical excision. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a dermatologic surgeon. Best, Dr. Emer
Unfortunately coolsculpting will not do much for lipomas since the fat in lipomas is too dense and enclosed. Surgical excision is the best way to approach this.
I would not recommend using CoolSculpting to treat lipomas on the arms and abdomen. Lipomas need to be completely removed to treat them and CoolSculpting would only reduce the fat but not completely remove them. Surgical excision is the method of choice for removing lipomas on the arms and abdomen.
Because CoolSculpting® isn't really designed to treat and remove lipomas, I'm afraid you're likely to be disappointed by your results if that's your goal. The most common treatment for removing lipomas is surgery, but the treatment does have a 97% "Worth It" rating on RealSelf so you have every reason to feel positive about the results. Best of luck to you!
lipomas can be removed by: surgery, kybella, or liposuction. coolsculpting is not the tool for lipoma removal.
Coolsculpting has not been shown to reduce the size of lipomas. Most lipomas are addressed with surgical excision. I recommend consultation with a plastic surgeon for evaluation of the lipomas. One thing to keep in mind is the presence of multiple lipomas can be associated with various medical conditions and syndromes.
I don't think that Coolsculpting is a very good treatment for these. Obviously, excision is the best treatment. I do believe there was a trial using Kybella for these and it wasn't very successful.
Coolsculpting is a non-invasive procedure that uses cold to permanently remove pockets of fat that at resistant to diet and exercise. In the case of lipomas, Coolsculpting is not a recommended treatment. These benign fibrous fatty deposits should be assessed by a physician and will typically need surgical means to be removed.
The new applicators help shorten treatment time and keep patients more comfortable during treatment as well. Because an area can be treated in just about half the time compared to prior applicators, you're back to your regular schedule faster too. Definitely make sure to verify with your...
Although it's not usual for someone to get hives after a CoolSculpting® treatment, it shouldn't have any bearing on your ability to get laser hair removal. Just be sure you let your laser technician know the situation before your scheduled appointment in case there's any advice they need to ...
Thank you for your question. Even though some patients experience dizziness right after Coolsculpting treatment (happens from standing up to fast), symptoms should not persist for long period of time after treatment. I recommend having a follow up with your treating physician for an evaluation....
