Hi, I am 27 and a lot of my friends are getting braces which is making me question my own teeth, i always get compliments on them but can't help but want them straighter and to align and i hate the fangs. Am I silly to consider veneers? what are my other options? Braces or invisialign? but would this help the bottom of the top teeth and the top of the bottom teeth align to be straight? Also could I file down the fangs/.
Answer: There is nothing wrong with porcelain veneers When done well, the result can be amazing, beautiful, and durable. However, if this were MY teeth, or my daughter's teeth, I would consider braces (in SOME form) as a first choice. Get them lined up better, contour the edges, and KöR whiten them, and you will have a great smile.Porcelain veneers DOES allow much of the same in as few as two visits only days/weeks apart, but the investment will be 3 times as much and is irreversible.

Answer: #Veneers or #Invisalign #DrSoftTouch Hello there,Based on your photos, I would give you two options. The first option would be Invisalign. After Invisalign, you may need to have some of your teeth reshaped or possibly veneered to achieve the overall look that you are aiming for. The second option would be skipping the Invisalign and going directly to veneers. Veneers would take 1-2 appointments and would be expected to last you 20 years or so. I would recommend doing a little research online and finding a dentist with great before and after photos. This will give you a pretty good indication of what you can expect from the dentist that you select. Good luck and I hope this helps. Answer: Veneers for Alignment You have beautiful teeth! They have a nice even color/tone and a beautiful shape. The alignment could use improvement. For this you could consider Braces or Invisalign. Invisalign is a more esthetic option of the two. Most of the time people don't notice that your undergoing treatement as they are clear aligners that you wear. You can also have a clin-check made for Invisalign. This is a virtual movie that is made to show you the necessary movements needed to get the desired result. It will give you an idea of how long the treatment will take and what it could look like at the end of treatement before you go ahead with it. Once the alignmment is complete the you can consider reshaping the canines if necessary. Right now they are prominent but the may not be once they are in better alignment with the other teeth. Hope this helps! Good Luck!

Answer: Veneers Thanks for posting the pictures. You have beautiful teeth they just aren't in the most esthetic alignment. I would join the crowd and have a consultation with an orthodontist to determine the best way to reach your esthetic goals. Braces would definately give you a more harmonious smile and get rid of the fang appearance. Don't just file down your teeth and make them flat. You may create other problems down the road.
