Hi, thanks for your question. Yes, you should be ok to fly after receiving dermal fillers and Botox. Changes in cabin pressure can sometimes lead to swelling, which is why it's typically recommended that you wait a day or two before flying, but if your injector has no problem with it, and you've had these treatments done before without any adverse side effects, you should be fine. Be sure to speak to your provider if you have any concerns.
Yes, it is safe to fly four hours after your filler treatment. Please be aware that bruising and swelling may be present. Avoid alcohol, aspirin, Vitamin E supplements, and any other medication or supplements that can thin the blood for about a week prior to treatment. This will help minimize bruising.
It is safe to fly after receiving fillers or Botox. There is no contraindication to flying after receiving these treatments. Please keep the usual precautions which is to keep the treated areas clean and dry to avoid any injection. Use a mineralized sunscreen during the daytime.
You should be fine, flying is not a contraindication. Let your doctor know to get a complete assessment.
Thanks for your question. I think you will be fine to travel 4 hours after injections. Let your injector know your plans and follow their recommendations so they are aware. Best of luck!
Hello and thank you for your question. Yes there should be an issue with flying soon after your treatments. Hopefully you have had these treatments before and haven’t had any issue with them. If you do have an adverse reaction, which is not likely, then you will have to seek assistance wherever you are traveling to. Best of luck to you.Dr. T
Hi there, It's not the flying per se that is the problem, it's the access to your practitioner incase of an adverse event. Usually the injector will ask you to be accessible to the practitioner for about 1 week after the procedure so that they could help manage any problems that may arise. If you are flying out of town, but are able to come back at time, there should be no problem.
Hello and thank you for your question. Yes medically this would not be an issue but you may have some redness and swelling this close to flying. Hope this helps, Best wishes
