Hello and thank you for your question. Thebest advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. In some patients with bone/cartilage nasal asymmetry, osteotomies and/or spreader grafts can improve this. Make sure youspecifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who havehad this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate theirresults. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you arecomfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualifiedboard-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Reish, M.D.Harvard-trained plastic surgeon

For more information and many before-and-after dorsal hump removal rhinoplasty examples, please see the link and the video below

Thank you for your question. It is important that you monitor your nose the day after the minor accident. It seems like you will be fine from the minor accident, but it wouldn't hurt for you to call your board certified facial plastic surgeon. You have nothing to be alarmed about with no pa...
Dear minaplastic in Los Angeles, California: A month after surgery is not a critical point. To have the stitches come out in the first 7 to 10 days, that might have lead to some trouble, but it is not likely your end result will be influenced by the premature removal of the stitches. You w...
The question of ruining your rhinoplasty is appropriate but overly emphasized. You are right, the nose is very strong, however the newly manipulated nose fragments are fragile and have to be protected for several weeks. A light brush will not do damage. An elbow on the basketball court will be...
