Microneedling is excellent for the wrinkles around the mouth. Microneedling also referred to as collagen induction therapy is a controlled injury to the skin. The skin produces extra collagen to heal the tiny injuries to the skin, leaving the skin smoother, tighter, and rejuvenated. This is not a product such as Botox or fillers that the body breaks down within months after injected. Microneedling is a treatment to stimulate the collagen production. It depends on the patient as to how long the results will last. A skin care regimen at home to keep the cells active and exfoliate the skin, using your sunscreen and have a healthy diet and exercise and continue doing your treatments are recommended to keep your skin looking its best.
