What is the the best sports bra for running after Breast Augmentation? (photo)

Dear cm,Thank you for your post.  I am very protective of my patients with augmentations who are runners.  I recommend that they buy the athleta underwire sports bra with the front straps.  My patients really like this bra for running and find that it holds them very stable.  Some patients use an additional regular sports bra on top of this for extra security.  Best wishes,Pablo Prichard, MD

Thank you for your question.  I would avoid the underwire bra because of compression by the wire on your inframammary crease scar.  I concur that the Z–bra is excellent. Congratulations on excellent breast augmentation result.

I have performed >7000 augmentations,and the best sports bra Ihave ever sen is the Z-Bra, made by Medical-z corporation.  they are made of Coolmax Licra, and therefore perspiration evaporates through it. Unfortunately they are not sold i stores.  You can buy them a a very reasonable price over the internet.  They have no underwire,and do not need one
